The BBC has appointed Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) to dispose of its leasehold interest at Bridge House in MediaCity, Salford.

Bridge House in MediaCity, Salford, offers 105,000 sq ft of office space across seven floors

The building is one of three the corporation occupies at MediaCity, and the decision to vacate follows a reappraisal of its space requirements.

The waterfront property has 105,000 sq ft of office space across seven floors, with the building available as a whole or on a floor-by-floor basis.

Adam Robson, director of transactional services at LSH, said: “As one of the most prominent buildings at MediaCity, Bridge House offers an excellent opportunity for a new occupier to take its place in the UK’s leading digital and media hub.

”With a high-specification, large floorplates, plug- and-play capabilities and a waterfront location, we are anticipating significant demand for the space.”

The BBC has committed to leave Bridge House by spring 2024 in response to changing office space requirements, with the teams based there relocating to other buildings at MediaCity.
