BBC signs at revised £1.1bn scheme in Olympic Park with mayoral backing

Sadiq Khan has unveiled revised plans for a new £1.1bn mixed-use scheme in Olympic Park, which will be home to the BBC’s live music offering, with £385m of investment from the Mayor of London.

East Bank at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London is also backed by £151m from the government with the BBC the latest tenants to sign at the former Olympicopolis alongside the V&A, Sadler’s Wells, the London College of Fashion and University College London.
