Bellway Homes has been selected as developer for a £100m scheme in Ilford.
The scheme called Unity Square will comprise a public square with retail and leisure facilities, 500 homes and a new 300 seat theatre to replace Ilford’s Kenneth More Theatre.
London Borough of Redbridge, advised by Drivers Jonas, selected Bellway Homes who will work in partnership with Metropolitan Housing Partnership and Coplan Estates.
The project, that will form part of the wider regeneration of Ilford Town Centre will be completed in 2012. Levitt Bernstein is lead designer and Whitelaw Turkington is landscape consultant.
