British fashion designer Ben Sherman has signed up to open a store in Cologne, Germany as part of a European expansion.
Ben Sherman will open its first flagship store in Berlin this year and in Cologne it has signed up for a 1,506 sq ft store at Ehrenstraße 6 in the city centre. The store will open in the autumn.
Savills advised Ben Sherman. Thomas Pasiecznik, senior consultant of Savills retail in Germany, said: 'To date, Ben Sherman has been available through concessions in larger stores in Germany.
'The decision to open ‘monobrand’ stores is representative of demand for international fashion brands, and strong confidence in the German consumer.’
