Jones Lang LaSalle has called for bids on the former Burberry headquarters at 18-22 Haymarket, London, which is being sold by PricewaterhouseCoopers, administrators of Rock Group.

Bids have been requested by 24 November on the property, which is the first UK building to have ever had bookmakers Paddy Power take bets on the final sale price.

Betting is now closed with the most popular bet on a sale price of between £24m and £27m.

The building is being sold with full vacant posession.

Barry Gilbertson, real estate partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the administrators of the shareholding company in the Rock Group, said: "As administrators, we are absolutely delighted with the interest in this iconic building. We expected this hungry property market, starved of quality property, to generate considerable interest, and we were not disappointed. We have had interest from investors and developers wanting to use this building for a range of uses like up-market retail, residential apartments, luxury boutique hotel, private members club, destination bar and even offices.”
