BL shareholders spurn Laxey, but send Ritblat a warning

Proposals for share buybacks and outsourcing of property management were heavily defeated by British Land shareholders at the company's AGM yesterday, but the vote to re-elect chairman and chief executive John Ritblat as a director of the company was carried by a surprisingly narrow margin.
