Blackpool is recovering from its failed ‘supercasino’ bid with a £21m promenade redevelopment. Regeneration company ReBlackpool this week appointed LDA Design to produce a masterplan to revamp the 3.2 km central promenade, which features installation art on concrete ‘headlands’ next to the sand dunes .
