Situated on a gateway site, the Casa Hotel and office scheme has been designed by architecture and interior design practice Careyjones.
It comprises a 100-room hotel and a 16,000 sq ft office facility that will form the top two floors of the building.
Steve Perez, chairman at Bradbury Hall Developments, said: 'Being born and bred in Chesterfield, we are genuinely committed to enhancing our hometown and believe that this ambitious mixed-use complex will be an exciting and important addition to the area.'
He said the project will also provide up 500 jobs.
