British Land has pulled out of a deal to acquire build-to-rent operator Fizzy Living from Thames Valley Housing.
The REIT is said not to have changed its strategy to move into the BTR sector, despite this particular deal not going ahead.
It first announced that it wanted to move into BTR in May 2018, and said it wanted to grow its residential holdings to 10% of its portfolio over the next five years.
