British Land has agreed to prelet two-thirds of an office development on the western side of the City to legal firm Charles Russell.
The company announced this afternoon it had agreed non-binding heads of terms with Charles Russell for a preletting of 88,000 sq ft (8,175 sq m) of Ludgate West at Fleet Place near St Paul’s Cathedral.
Charles Russell is moving into the ground floor and levels four to nine of the building, which is on track for completion this October.
The 130,000 sq ft (12,080 sq m) Ludgate West is the latest phase of the Ludgate development, begun by Rosehaugh Stanhope in the late 1980s. It is designed by US architect Skidmore Owings & Merrill.
