British Land secures new letting and advances first BTR scheme

British Land revealed in half-year results today that it had secured a 45,000 sq ft letting deal with Skyscanner and was progressing plans for its first build-to-rent scheme in Aldgate.

The company said online travel operator Skyscanner had let 45,000 sq ft of space at 338 Euston Road. Chief financial officer Simon Carter said Skyscanner initially agreed to take it as fitted space but then signed a deal for British Land’s flexible office brand Storey to run the office.
