Brixton has appointed Mike Andrews as head of the company’s leasing team following the resignation of director John Pocock

The company, headed by chief executive Tim Wheeler, announced the switch today. Property Week has also learned that Pocock will be joining fund manager Highcross as a project director after he has served his notice period.

Pocock will work alongside director Chris Mills on Highcross’ £130m development programme, which extends to 1.2m sq ft (111,482 sq m) and includes schemes in Kidderminster, Crewe, Rugby and Sittingbourne.

Andrews, who joined Brixton in 1999 from DTZ, will now be responsible for leasing and joint ventures and will work on Brixton’s Heathrow Big Box and Equiton funds as well as at Trafford Park in Manchester.

Wheeler said: ‘John’s departure gives us a great opportunity now to bring some broader management focus to the leasing function of our business which we have been restructuring since the Industrious acquisition.’
