An Israeli investment consortium has pulled out of talks to buy a 49% stake in the Broadgate Estate, in the City of London, from British Land. Property and Building, the property division of IDB Group, which is headed by Nochi Dankner, the Israeli billionaire, said that it had ended talks one month after it had announced its interest. It had joined up with Harel Insurance and Financial Services, the Israeli group, to buy the £145m share.
