Bupa has agreed to occupy more than 80,000 sq ft at Aberdeen Property Investors’ Pine Trees development in Staines.

The private health insurer has leased the space in two phases.

It will move into the 34,000 sq ft unit 3 this year, paying £31/sq ft on a 16 year lease.

After moving in to unit 3, Bupa’s lease on its former building on the park – unit 4 – will be taken back by Aberdeen and redeveloped.

Bupa has then agreed to re-lease unit 4, following the redevelopment by Aberdeen which will include building a full height atrium which will connect both buildings and act as a new entrance.

Bupa will pay £29/sq ft for unit 4.

NB Real Estate advised Bupa. CB Richard Ellis and Jones Lang LaSalle are joint letting agents for Aberdeen Property Investors.
