Bristol shopping development Cabot Circus is now 90% prelet ahead of a September opening.

Eleven retailers have signed up over the last month including fashion stores American Apparel, Bank, Bench, Cult and Henleys.

The 1.5m sq ft scheme being developed by Bristol Alliance partners, Land Securities and Hammerson, has also attracted Ollie & Nic, the handbag and leather fashion accessories retailer.

It will be its fourth standalone store in the UK.

Fashion jewellers Swarovski and Thomas Sabo are among the other retailers that have signed up for the £500m scheme.

Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance leasing director, said: ‘These latest signings to cutting edge street brands is clear proof of Bristol’s growing importance as a major new location for retailers.

'We are already over the 90% let by floorspace milestone, and anticipate that the scheme will be at least 95% let by the time of its opening.’

Joint letting agents for the scheme are DTZ and Lunson Mitchenall.
