Candy & Candy has opened its first office in Los Angeles to manage sister company CPC’s 8 acre site development.

Candy & Candy, which has been appointed as interior designer and development manager on the prestigious 9900 Wilshire site, has moved into premises on North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills.

The joint venture with Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander is Candy & Candy and CPC’s first US project.

‘We are delighted to have recently taken up a new office on Rodeo Drive, signifying our first US project and we are looking forward to being part of the community,’ said Nick Candy, of Candy & Candy. ‘We recently hosted an event in Beverly Hills for more than 200 local residents to give them the opportunity to meet the team in person and share information about our company and our award-winning work in the UK. ‘

Candy said the new office is part of ongoing global expansion that will extend to new offices in New York, Qatar, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo within the next year.

The Wilshire scheme, designed by Pritzkeir Prize-winning architect Richard Meier, features 830,000 sq ft of residential which will be made up of 252 condiminiums, two 12-storey signature buildings, luxury town house, and two four-storey loft buildings.

9900 Wilshire, which will also include 20,000 sq ft of retail and leisure facilities, is subject to approval by Beverly Hills City Council.
