Manchester city centre’s largest office letting this year completed this week.
CBRE Investors’ Strategic Partners Fund has let 60,000 sq ft to Capita at Lee House and Churchgate House in the city.
26,000 sq ft
Capita has taken 26,000 sq ft across two floors at Lee House and a 10 year lease for 28,000 sq ft across two floors at Churchgate House on Oxford Road. The deal is in the region of £15/sq ft at the two buildings which are interlinked.
Preferred option
King Sturge office partner, Chris Mulcahy, who acted for Capita, said: ‘The size of the requirement restricted the number of available options but Lee and Churchgate quickly became the preferred option.’
DTZ acted for CBRE Investors.
Mailbox REIT said the BBC is likely to stay for up to another two years at the mixed-use Birmingham scheme when its lease expires in 2026.
