Catalyst Capital, the pan–European investment group, is set to acquire 1 America Square, London EC3, from Vincent Tchenguiz’s Consensus for more than £120m.

Consensus acquired the building on behalf of the State of Qatar in 2004 for £110m.

Catalyst is understood to be heading an investment consortium for the 210,000 sq ft (19,510 sq m) building.

A deal is expected to complete by the end of next week. Morgan Stanley and Savills are advising Consensus.
