CBRE has become the latest major global firm to enter the flexible workspace sector having announced the launch of its new co-working and serviced office space venture Hana.
Hana will partner with institutional property investors who want to “differentiate and enhance their assets”. The business will provide private office suites targeted at large corporates needing flexible space. Hana’s core offering Hana Team will design, build and operate the facilities and services in direct competition with existing providers like WeWork and Regus.
Hana will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CBRE and from 2019, it will be the third component of CBRE’s real estate investments business alongside CBRE Global Investors and Trammell Crow Company.
