CBRE GI makes 'historic' Hamburg acquisition

CBRE Global Investors Hanseviertel Hamburg

CBRE Global Investors has acquired the Hanseviertel mixed-use scheme in Hamburg’s historic city centre from Allianz Lebensversicherungs on behalf of one of its funds.

Hanseviertel consists of a shopping arcade, several high street units, a 205-room Renaissance Hotel, office space and 15 residential apartments across 420,000 sq ft. Anchor tenant of the office space is the City of Hamburg and the property also includes a public parking garage, operated by APCOA, with 440 parking spaces.
