Premier League football team Chelsea has announced it will not proceed with plans to develop a new 60,000 capacity Stamford Bridge stadium.
The club had initially unveiled plans for a £500m scheme to redevelop its stadium in July 2015, but, following a protracted legal dispute over rights of light with a local family the cost has increased to £1bn.
