Citi has confirmed that Crossrail is to sublease 116,000 sq ft of space at Citi’s 25 Canada Square office in London’s Canary Wharf.
The US banking group said Cross London Rail Links – or Crossrail – would lease floors 27 to 30, totaling 116,000 sq ft of space at the building which is Citi’s European HQ.
Crossrail will move in by the end of the year. Other tenants in the the tower include SunGard, Instinet, Think London, Hatfield Philips, Wells Fargo, AEG, Munich Re and MWB.
A Transport for London spokesperson said: ‘Work on the £15.9bn 10 year Crossrail project has intensified following Royal Assent of the Crossrail Act last month.
‘The growing Crossrail team, which is delivering what is Europe's largest construction project, will be moving to offices at 25 Canada Square. Crossrail has secured a 10 year lease which represents good value for money for this accessible location.’
