City Corporation approves Tulip skyscraper


The City of London Corporation planning committee has approved J Safra Group’s Tulip skyscraper.

At its meeting this afternoon the Corporation gave the Foster & Partners-designed 1,000 ft high tourist tower the green light by 18 votes to 7, despite objections from Historic England, the Greater London Authority and Tower Hamlets.
