City office take-up rises in final quarter of 2003

The figures show an optimistic end to a difficult year, in which the vacancy rate swelled by almost 30%. Take-up in the City in the fourth quarter was 778,000 sq ft (72,276 sq m), compared with the previous quarter when just 684,000 sq ft (63,544 sq m) was let.
