Tower 42 is set to be the next landmark office building to go under the hammer in the commercial property market. The Sunday Telegraph.

Hermes Property Asset Management which owns a 49% stake in the £400m building, is understood to be preparing to put it on sale on November 5 through Jones Lang LaSalle.

It will be the first real test of the market since the HSBC Tower, in Canary Wharf, was sold for £1bn before this summer’s credit crisis.
