The scheme, which already has planning permission, comprises 152 apartments: 112 for shared ownership and 40 for affordable rent. It will be spread over four blocks up to a maximum of 15 storeys.

Alongside the homes, Clarion Housing Group will develop three commercial units as well as landscaped open spaces. The site on Bath Road is a short walk to Bristol Temple Meads station, and is Clarion’s first site in Bristol city centre.

Work is due to start on site in April or May, and first residents will move into their homes in August 2022.
