Resthaven Properties, part of Topland Group Holdings, has sealed the south-west’s largest office letting this year to Clerical Medical Investment Group at its building at Harbourside in Bristol.
Clerical Medical has taken the newly completed 170,000 sq ft Building 12 at Harbourside on a 25 year lease at a rent of £23/ sq ft.
The lease is on a fixed rent basis with increases of 2.5% for the first three reviews, with two more fixed rental increases thereafter.
Headquarters
The building, designed by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson, will be Clerical Medical’s regional headquarters.
Clerical Medical will relocate from its existing buildings across the city by the end of the year.
Resthaven were advised by project managers, Gleeds, technical experts, AYH, solicitors Addleshaw Goddard and the Topland Group’s UK management company, Berkley Estates London.
