CMG owners mull sale of specialist care business

Care provider for people with learning disabilities could fetch £250m as investor interest in sector grows.

CMG, which is majority owned by Chai Patel’s Court Cavendish, operates 181 properties across England and Wales, evenly split between residential care and supported living.

Estimates from market sources of how much CMG could fetch range from £150m to £250m. The business has achieved 20% revenue growth year on year since 2015 and now boasts full-year revenues of £79m as well as EBITDA of £20m.
