Leisure entrepreneur David Coffer is to create a new holding company for his advisory businesses ahead of a potential £50m listing on AIM next year.

The new company will be called Coffer Group and will contain his advisory businesses David Coffer Lyons and Coffer Corporate Leisure. Negotiations are also in place to strengthen this with a specialist hotels and financial advisory operation. The intention is to increase revenues to approaching £20m in the next three years.

But the company will not contain Coffer’s extensive property interests. Coffer was part of the group that bought Earls Court and Olympia in London for £245m three years ago, then sold a 50% share in July to listed developer Liberty International for £190m.

Coffer still personally owns 10% of the Earls Court and Olympia exhibition centres
