Anglo-Norwegian engineering and construction group Kvaerner sold its construction business to Swedish contractor Skanska for NOK4.7bn (£356m). President and CEO Kjell Almskog said: ‘The sale means a further sharpening of our strategic focus. The future activities of the group will centre on oil and gas and industrial process technology.’
