A development and construction consultancy has launched a service to assist with projects where either the developer or contractor is unable to complete on a job.

Consultancy DBK is targeting funders, administrators, receivers and landowners with its new service.

The service will involve project audits, assessments of risk and return on investment, and formulating plans for recovery.

DBK then follows through the recovery strategy to deal with contractual disputes and devising construction management solutions to manage risk and mitigate loss.

Tim Downing, managing director of DBK said: ‘Throughout our 30 year history, we have experienced every peak and trough in the development industry and have accrued significant experience in providing expert advice on legal proceedings, insolvency matters and other disputes.

‘By calling on this experience, we have now established a dedicated project recovery team with a wide ranging set of skills.’

DBK has experience across mixed-use, commercial, residential, health and education sectors, and has offices in Birmingham, London, Bournemouth, Manchester, Cardiff and Ipswich.
