Conygar, the investment company headed by Robert Ware, has won planning consent for a £110m waterfront scheme at Pembroke Dock in Wales.

The development, which will create a 260-berth marina, 146 houses and 304 apartments, was approved by Pembrokeshire County Council. It will also include a hotel, cinema, other retail and leisure facilities and a 250-space car park.

Conygar bought a 50% stake in Martello Quays in 2005 – the other half belongs to Vinci Project Development, a subsidiary of construction company Vinci.

The land is owned by the Crown Estate.

The scheme has also been backed by Milford Haven Port Authority, Pembrokeshire County Council and the Welsh Assembly.
