Cording makes second investment of £400m PRS fund in Warrington's Stadium Quarter

Cording Warrington PRS 2

Cording has agreed a second deal for its new £400m UK Residential Investment Fund with a £40m forward funding deal for a build-to-rent development in Warrington.

Having agreed to forward fund a £50m build-to-rent led regeneration project in Leicester earlier this month to kick-off £400m of investment in the UK private rented sector (PRS), Cording has now backed High Street Residential’s plans for a 362-bed scheme forming part of the £190m Stadium Quarter regeneration area in Warrington.

The deal marks the second sale of BTR apartments by High Street Residential, which forms part of the High Street Group of Companies, and is one of a series of projects underway within the 90 acre regeneration site in Warrington. Construction on the site in John Street is expected to be completed in early 2021 and help link the Warrington bus interchange with Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium alongside a series of leisure and office schemes. The John Street BTR scheme will provide 362 one and two-bed apartments.
