Countrywide shares fall on emergency funding approval


Countrywide’s share price dropped 2.99% on Wednesday to 12.7p after shareholders voted through the estate agent group’s emergency £140m funding plan.

Around £115m of the share issue will be used to pay down debt and £14m will be for general corporate purposes and to support working capital.
