A salmon fisherman involved in a stand-off with Donald Trump is threatening to build a crazy golf course next to his planned resort and links courses in Aberdeenshire. Daily Telegraph

Councillors gave Trump the go-ahead by seven votes to four at a meeting last week in Balmedie, just north of Aberdeen, where the 1,400-acre complex is to be built.

The proposal includes two championship courses, an eight-storey five-star hotel, a golf academy, nearly 1,000 holiday homes and 500 private houses.

But he is battling Michael Forbes, who has turned down a £1m offer from Trump to sell his 25-acre farm which lies in the middle of the proposed second hole and hotel site. Now Forbes revealed that he plans 'the world’s best crazy golf course' together with a tea room, on land between the championship fairways, yards from Trump Boulevard, the main access road to the resort.
