Designer brands Cruise and Hugo Boss have signed up to take stores at Hammerson’s and Hermes’ £350m Highcross Leicester shopping centre.

Cruise, which was founded in Edinburgh 26 years ago, is to open a three-level 7,200 sq ft flagship store and Hugo Boss will open a 4,300 sq ft store on the ground and mezzanine floors.

Leisure scheme
The shopping and leisure scheme, a 60/40 joint venture between Hammerson and Hermes respectively, is set to open in autumn 2008.

Other brands who have already let space include Next, River Island, H&M, Zara and New Look.

John Lewis
A 236,800 sq ft, four-storey John Lewis department store will anchor the scheme.

Cruise and Hugo Boss have also signed up at Hammerson and Land Securities Bristol shopping centre Cabot Circus.

Cushman & Wakefield and DTZ are joint letting agents for Highcross Leicester.
