Residential developer plans mixed-use scheme in first step outside South East.
Hub has acquired a six-acre site that houses a National Express bus garage on Liverpool Street in the Digbeth area.
It plans to bring forward a development that includes creative workspace, residential, leisure and retail space in the medium term.
A new Metrolink Station is planned close to the site, which is around a mile east of the city centre. This will provide fast links to both Birmingham New Street Station and the new HS2 station at Curzon Street, which is now being built.
