Dick Kingston, Slough Estates’ long-serving finance director today announced he would be retiring from company at the end of the year

Kingston will leave the UK’s largest industrial property company on 31st December after 19 years of service.

Kingston was appointed finance director in April 1996. He stood down from this position on 31st December 2005 but continued as an executive director on Slough’s board where his responsibilities included acting as chairman for the company’s continental european business. He has been replaced by David Sleath.

Ian Coull, chief executive of Slough Estates, said: ‘The board is extremely grateful to Dick for his significant contribution to the business over so many years. Dick is warmly regarded by everyone who has worked with him and he is renowned for his professionalism and integrity.’

Kingston said: ‘It has been a great pleasure working at Slough Estates and helping to create the company as it is today. I thank my colleagues for all their help and

support over the years and wish them the very best as they continue to develop the company throughout this particularly exciting phase.’
