Shell International Petroleum has awarded DTZ the contract to undertake property management services across 5,000 retail sites in 11 countries across North America and Asia Pacific.
David Jones, from DTZ’s Occupier Services team will lead the account globally, which builds on a strong existing relationship with Shell in EMEA. DTZ’s specialist roadside team, part of the Occupier Services team, has a strong track record in the sector having previously worked with ExxonMobil, Shell Eastern Petroleum, Galp Oil and Chevron Texaco.
DTZ will advise on estate management, transactions and portfolio asset management for the petrol forecourts estate.
It is the biggest corporate estates outsourcing project in the oil and gas sector this year. The countries include Canada, USA, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.
