East has become the latest high street retailer to announce store closures after administrators revealed they have failed to find a buyer for the chain.

Administrators at FRP Advisory said that they had been unable to find a buyer for the business and East is now due to cease trading on 4 May.

Having filed for administration in January, the fashion train continue to trade to maximise stock value and brand reputation. One lease on a store in Reigate was sold in March for £75,000 and now another 12 stores are to close as the leases are transferred to other parties.
