ECE appoints Hawkpoint to find a merger partner

The company has appointed corporate advisers Hawkpoint to work with its independent directors, Peter Beckwith and Peter Duffy, to find a suitable partner. Duffy, the former managing director of TR Property Investment Trust, has just taken over from Philip Korthals Altes as chairman.
