Nick Peel will helm the £1bn mixed-use Edinburgh St James development when it opens in October.

Peel will oversee the daily management and operation of the new shopping destination and the roll-out of the aparthotel and hotel, residences, and cinema as they open in 2021.

As part of his responsibilities at Battersea Power Station, Peel handled experiential and digital strategies and it is expected he will bring this experience to his work at the Edinburgh St James. He has also worked at Landsec as head of UK retail property management.

“Nick shares our vision for the site and will help to build strong relationships with the exciting brands we are bringing to the city—complementing and enhancing everything Edinburgh has to offer,” said Martin Perry, director of development at Edinburgh St James.
