Investors pile into real estate funds of funds in search of diversification as sector ‘remains in good health’.
The research found that equity raised for funds of funds rose from $3bn in 2016 to $8.1bn last year, while average returns dipped slightly from 6.2% to 5.1%.
A survey conducted for the research also found that one in seven investors planned to increase their allocations over the next two years.
