Fund manager Europa Capital Partners has agreed to lease 74,500 sq ft to Nokia Siemens Networks at its Office Campus Gasometer project in Vienna, Austria.

Nokia will take an entire building, one of the five interlinked office buildings, that make up the 305,700 sq ft second phase. It is the largest single letting to date within the development and Nokia joins tenants including Merz, Allianz, Reckitt Benckiser, LG Electronics, Hitachi and Carmeuse among others.

Nokia will occupy the building in the third quarter of this year.

Alex Fiedler, managing director of RED Real Estate Development, development managers for the project, said: ‘We are now approaching 70% leased and are hopeful of converting the good level of interest into firm leasing commitments.’

Since 1995, Europa Capital’s principals have collectively raised six real estate funds and committed to more than 60 transactions totalling in excess of €5bn (£5.4bn) across 17 European countries.

Cushman & Wakefield and Inter-Pool Immobilien advised Nokia.
