Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club has received planning permission for a new £25m hotel at its Sandy Park ground on the outskirts of the south west city.
The 250-bedroom, four-star hotel will sit alongside the M5 motorway. The eight-storey, L-shaped venue, will feature leisure facilities on the ground floor and a restaurant on the top floor, and be branded as a Marriot Courtyard hotel.
