Field narrows to four in race for Royal Docks

The withdrawal of the British Land/Stanhope and Slough Estates/P&O consortia leaves four developers in the hunt, and strengthens the position of Canary Wharf, widely tipped as favourite. However, Development Securities, akeler and Helical Bar also submitted plans in time for the cut-off.
