A two Michelin star restaurant is relocating from its Shropshire home to Property Merchant Group’s and Morley’s mixed-use development at 23 – 29 Maddox Street in London’s Mayfair.

Hibiscus has taken 3,000 sq ft on a 25 year lease at 29 Maddox Street, part of the total 5,000 sq ft of retail available at the scheme.

Contemporary art gallery Le Violon Bleu has taken an 838 sq ft unit at 23 Maddox Street for ten years at a rent of £35,000 a year.

Italian sculptor Gianfranco Meggiato has taken the retail unit at 27 Maddox Street, totalling 931 sq ft, on a 15 year lease at a rent of £53,000 per annum.

The retail deals follow Property Merchant Group and Morley letting the scheme’s 26,000 sq ft of office space to three tenants.

UK publisher Conde Nast has taken 16,700 sq ft on the second, fourth, fifth and sixth floors of the 25 Maddox Street for ten years at rents between £80 and £90/sq ft.

Construction company Carillion, also the contractor on the project, has taken 4,700 sq ft for ten years at £87.78/sq ft. Aladdin Capital Management has taken 4,600 sq ft at £87.50/sq ft for ten years.
