Centenary Asset Management has secured five new retailers at its Castle Mall shopping centre in Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Gordons Chemist has agreed to relocate to a larger unit and joins Woolworths, O2, Cardland, Timpsons and Paul Coote, a local fashion company.
Earlier this year, Castle Mall opened a £5m extension totalling 28,000 sq ft of retail space as well as re-naming it Castle Mall. Previously it was called Castle Centre.
Gordons, Northern Ireland’s largest independently-owned pharmacy, health and beauty chain is due to move to a 4,500 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease and will be ready for trade in September this year.
‘The centre has definitely turned a corner since Centenary Asset Management purchased the scheme and this is highlighted by the retailers that we are now attracting,’ said Ryan Kee, an associate director of BTWShiells, the letting agent.
