Foncière des Régions has signed an agreement to buy a portfolio of 14 UK hotels that form The Principal Hotel Company for £858m from Starwood Capital.
The French company is buying the hotels, which have a total of 2,638 rooms, through its dedicated hotel real estate subsidiary, Foncière des Murs. The deal marks its first move into the UK market.
