Max James, former global head of real estate at HSBC, has launched an investment advisory service, it was announced today.

Aimed at corporate and wealthy private property investors, Lowndes Partners will provide strategic investment advice, manage private placements and advise on takeover deals.

James will work alongside former colleagues from HSBC and Lazard Richard Choi and Julie Green, who has left her role in Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate finance division to help set up the new venture.

James said: ‘As a group of senior bankers dedicated to the real estate sector, the creation of Lowndes Partners is a response to the strong demand from our clients for high quality independent advice and investment solutions.’

Lowndes Partners will be based in Savile Row.
